In this position, you will help lead the development of complex art work and designs to meet specific marketing and promotional needs and collaborate with other team members to conceptualize designs based on brand, retailer or category.

Additional major duties may include:

-Works with design team to create packaging and presentation materials including catalogs, brochures, direct sales presentations, seasonal planners, etc. to showcase and promote programs and products.

-Ensures consistency of the visual image to all markets for products, packaging and sales materials.

-Responsible for style guides and branding strategies for global brands.

-Coordinates the creation of final production of all sales materials.

Requirements:

- B.A. degree in Graphic Design or related area of study

-5+ Years related Graphic Design experience

-Print/Packaging/Web Experience

- Experience managing Vendor Relations (pre-press)

-Food experience a plus but not necessary

-Illustration experience a plus

-Design talent with a sense of retail markets: mass, specialty, grocery and appropriate looks and sensibilities.

- Knowledge of current food, fashion and lifestyle trends with strong awareness of marketing and branding concepts.

- Refined knowledge of graphic software and various materials; paper, film and plastics related to food package design.

-Knowledge of mfg process and costing principles w/ability to evaluate design feasibility based on factors such as cost parameters, substrates, mfr/printer limitations, etc.

-Professional exp in CPG and/or Food Industry preferred.

-Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Graphic Design, HTML, Illustration.

- Must possess a thorough understanding of pre-press and on-press production processes.
