The person should be eager to learn and it would be much desired to have at-least two years of experience of working in the field of graphic design

Skills required for graphic designer are

Must be able to create original designs, logo creation, concept of colors and use etc. 

You should be expert in following software:

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Illustrator

Adobe Indesign

Corel Draw 

The ability to learn quickly. A creative approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills.
