We’re looking for a talented individual who has a desire to be part of a fast growing company with tremendous growth opportunities within the company. You will be working in our office alongside our team in Toronto and across the globe. Your position as an Engineering Manager will require you to manage the product while programming simultaneously. Your primary aim will be to take the product roadmap and work on bringing it to life while collaborating with iOS/Android & Backend product engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Atleast 7+ years’ of hands-on experience in PHP Development using a reputable framework. We’re only looking for candidates with deep understanding and atleast 2+ years of working experience with Laravel/Symfony or similar framework.
• Experience as a technical leader with an additional team management experience of least 5+ years.
• Proficient with handling JIRA and release management.
• Experience going through the full software cycle of requirements, design, coding/testing best practices and continuous integration in delivering world class software and services.
• Capable of understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level.
• Strong leader and people manager with experience in setting a strong vision/roadmap for your team with a track record of delivering results while growing/mentoring engineers on your team.
• Solid understanding of platform/network/database (AWS, MongoDB, etc) and security procedures.
• MySQL database expertise, database design skills, complex SQL query, views and store procedure experience.
• Fluent English Written & Verbal Communication skill. 
• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university or equivalent achievements.
