| Job Description: |
- Develop and maintain Restful API services for high transaction mobile apps
- Ability to write clear and well thought out code
- Test Driven Development to achieve over 90% code coverage
- Actively take part in daily scrums
- Confirm through unit / integration tests to ensure code meets functional requirements
- Diagnose defects, provide assessments of remedial action and pursue resolution
- Maintain a posture of accountability for the quality of work and collaboration
- Participate in the presentation of completed features (sprint review, retrospectives)
- Whiteboard with team to understand new features / systems / projects from a high & low technical level Strong knowledge of design patterns, OOP principles, data structures, TDD
- Strong knowledge of at least some of the following frameworks/technologies – Hibernate, Spring, REST, Ehcache, Camel, JSON and Continuous Integration
- SQL experience, Schema and Query best practices and optimizations
- years building REST APIs/ handling network requests in a high transaction environment
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
- Strong personal project management skills (track record of delivering projects on-time and on-spec
- Exposure with AWS, strong debugging and problem solving skills
